TEAM NEWS

August 2nd – Synod planning meeting at St. Mark’s, West Frankfort at 9:00 a.m.

August 8-9 – Thy Kingdom Come! Conference in Decatur, IL. Starts 7:00 p.m. Friday the 8th. See info in Parish Hall.

August 30th – Lambeth and Gafcon debriefing at the Cathedral in Springfield, from 10am to 3pm. This is very important…please plan to attend.

September 6th – Diocesan Workshop “Making Joyful Disciples of Jesus Christ” at the Diocesan Center in Springfield, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sign-up sheets are in the Parish Hall.

September 13th – St Stephen’s annual Chicken BBQ

Cursillo Ultreya will be at St. Andrew’s, Carbondale on Sunday September 21st at 3:30 p.m. ALL are welcome to join in the praise, celebration and fellowship.

Education for Ministry is a four-year course under the School of Theology of the University of the South. Fr. Swan plans to begin the next class about September 9th at St. Stephen’s on Tuesday evenings through May. See Fr. Swan for more information.
