Bishop’s Committee will meet on Monday the 8th with Evening Prayer read at 6:00 p.m. and meeting starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Bishop’s committee has approved a music committee for St. James. The purpose is to explore and develop traditional and modern music for services and activities. We hope to provide opportunities for the congregation to request their favorite hymns, suggest instrumental and vocal selections and any and all suggestions to enhance the music at St. James. We want to offer music for our current and future worshippers. Les, Jim and Hal have volunteered for the committee and are asking for anyone interested in serving to please sign the volunteer list in the Parish House. Tickets for the BBQ Chicken Dinner, Saturday, April 24th, are now available for purchase and to sell. Please see Jim Eberts for your tickets.

Pausing for Prayer is March 13th at 9:30 a.m. at the Cathedral. There will be a carpool leaving at 6:00 a.m. For more information see Father Swan or Father Tim.

St. Stephen’s Annual Italian Feast is Saturday, March 20th. See Carol Marshall and Father Swan if you would like to buy tickets.

ECW: Saturday, March 20th, 10:00 a.m. the ladies will be gathering together for card making and stamping at the Parish House. Deanna and Ila will have the materials to put together to make 3-4 handmade cards for each attendee.

On Palm Sunday we will be decorating the Parish House for spring after Mass. (Altar Guild will do the Sanctuary)

The Deanery Farewell for Bishop and Melinda Beckwith will be held on Wednesday, April 7th at 6:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s with Bishop Beckwith celebrating. There will be a potluck to follow.
